Esports Ages 13 - Grade 12

Registration is now open for students 13 and older to be part of the North Branch Area Esports team for the 2026-27 Season! Esports, short for electronic sports, are organized, competitive video gaming events where players, either individually or in teams, participate in virtual games for prestige, prizes, or simply for the thrill of competition. Participating in an esports team promotes social development, academic improvement, and cognitive skills. It fosters inclusivity, offers scholarship opportunities, opens career paths in the growing esports industry, and encourages responsible digital citizenship. Integrating esports into schools can enhance personal growth, academic success, and community engagement for students. Deadline to register November 13th, 2026.

Esports Information Meeting - Tuesday, November 10th - 3pm - HS Media Center

Pre-season starts December 7th. Regular Season Starts January 4th. Practice/Season event times tentatively planned for weekday Monday-Friday evenings 4-6PM. 

Game Match Titles: Super Smash Brothers, MineCraft, Fortnite, Chess, Rocket League, Mario Karts, Valorant, Marvel Rivals and League of Legends.
