Beginner Family Style Clogging Class Ages 9 & OlderFitness & RecreationDon't let the kids have all the fun! Join us on the dance floor as we work on the 8 basic steps to this traditional American dance form called Clogging. No experience needed. We will get your heart rate up as we learn a few fun routines to upbeat popular songs. Bring a friend, some of your family, or come on your own. Wear some comfy clothes and shoes that can slide easily. Optional-you can purchase glue-on clogging taps for $20 from the instructor. Bring a pair of flat-soled shoes for the taps to be attached to (white shoes preferred for possible future performance opportunities).Spring/Summer 2026 -
Essentrics: Restorative FitnessFitness & RecreationEssentrics is based on the popular PBS series "Classical Stretch". It is a 60 minute total body dynamic stretching and strengthening workout. This flowing workout is non impact, equipment free with roots in tai chi, physical therapy and ballet. Suitable for all fitness levels, participants should be able to get up and down off the floor without assistance. Please bring a water bottle, mat to class and dress comfortable. Jackie is a certified Essentrics instructor and Yoga Tune Up Roll Model Method Practitioner. She is a former NBAPS teacher, has taught fitness classes for many years, and lives in North Branch with her family. ZumbaFitness & RecreationZumba fitness is a dance-based fitness program that combines Latin, International and Pop music challenging muscle to build strength, balance, flexibility and heart health. It feels less like a workout and more like fun as well as checking out from your busy life. This class will have a Hiit component and sprinkle in some upper body toning as well. No experience needed, let’s challenge ourselves to learn something new, get our exercise off of the “to do list”, make new friends and giggle along the way. Footwear- choose supportive, low tread as there will be quick movements, side to side, forward to back and pivoting. Drink plenty of water before, during class and bring a towel.Spring/Summer 2026
