Basic Welding 101 - Ages 18 and OlderAdult LearningNewThis class is intended for people with little to no welding experience. Designed to give a strong foundation for beginners who want to learn how to weld. You’ll get hands-on experience with arc welding and wire feed welding creating an assortment of basic metal joints as you focus on the proper and safe use of our welding equipment. Students should come dressed in appropriate attire for welding, jeans, long sleeve cotton shirt, close toed shoes (leather steel toed boots are best), long hair tied back, no loose-fitting clothes, clothes must be all natural fibers such as cotton, wool, linen, no synthetic fibers such as nylon, spandex, polyester, etc. and should expect to remove rings and dangling jewelry. If you wear glasses bring them with as well. All supplies are included in the registration fee.Fall 2026

Child and Babysitting Safety - Grades 4-8Youth EnrichmentNewThe Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Institute provides everything you need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The students will receive their certification card and instructions to access a digital copy of the CABS student book at the end of class. Topics cover everything from getting started with your business to collaborating with parents and children, safety, safe sleep practices, caregiving, emergencies, and basic first aid. CABS will help set you up for babysitting success. Students must be present for the entire class and complete the core learning objectives to receive certifications, valid for two years.
