  • Drafting Your Own Will
    Adult Learning

    Preparing your will is an important step in providing for the ones you love. Class 1 - Learn the various techniques for property distribution of your estate. Explore basic estate planning concepts and assess your need for your estate plan. You will receive sample forms and language to use while you draft your own will. Instructor will also cover circumstances that may require a review/revision of your will and a brief review of the benefits of a trust. Class 2 - You will sign the will you created. The language in your will, will not be reviewed by an attorney. Questions welcome.

With extensive estate planning experience, Julia will walk through these questions, some common myths and other elder law and estate planning topics such as probate, powers of attorney and health care directives in an informal discussion setting.     Plan now for the unexpected with these two legal documents! You will learn about the use and benefits of the Financial Power of Attorney and Health Care Directive. The instructor will discuss the agent’s responsibilities and factors in selection your agents. You will leave the class with completed forms.
