Create a magical pendant and wand using TinkerCAD while building 3D design skills. Students will also enjoy Harry Potter - inspired challenges and design themed video games while waiting for their 3D prints to finish. One design will be printed and sent home. The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program offers comprehensive training to ensure safe and successful babysitting. It covers everything from starting a babysitting business to essential safety, caregiving, and first aid practices. Upon completing the course and meeting the core learning objectives, students receive a certification valid for two years, and instructions to access a digital copy of the Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Student book. Students attend this class independently. Parents are encouraged to review the take-home information and discuss it with their child. If you are registering for Child and Babysitting Safety and Home Alone classes you may bring a bag lunch and drink to eat with the instructor during the break between the two classes.

Just mention the words "Home Alone," and children think of the excitement depicted in the movies of the same name. The reality is being home alone can evoke fear and anxiety in many children. Whether left alone for an hour after school or several hours a day during the summer, children should feel comfortable being alone. This workshop for children will address several topics relating to being "Home Alone" including personal safety tips, tricky people, basic first aid, fire safety, handling the unexpected, internet safety, gun safety, dealing with loneliness and boredom, storm safety, dealing with siblings as well as trust and honesty. Students attend this class independently. Parents are encouraged to review the take-home information and discuss it with their child. Interested in RC Cars? Interested in racing them on a track? Then join us as we explore what makes them work and try them out. Participants will leave with a better understanding and get some time testing out their driving skills on a few different types of RC Cars. Participants can use RC Cars provided or their own on approval.

In this class, you will be able to make and bake a GIANT peanut butter monster cookie of your own! (Paleo, vegan, and gluten-free class) All supplies are included in the registration fee. Please enter in door #3.

Make a bag out of a graphic t-shirt! T-shirts will be provided or you can bring your own. Bring fabric scissors if you have them (not required). Participants MUST be able to tie shoes to participate. Parents can stay to help if desired.

Get ready for a bubbly adventure! In this hands-on class, kids will dive into the magical world of bubbles. We'll create our own bubble wands, mix up special bubble solutions, and experiment with bubbles of all shapes and sizes. Can you make a giant bubble? What about a bubble that lasts extra long? Children will explore how bubbles form, float, and pop while enjoying plenty of time to blow, chase, and play with bubbles big and small. Parent/guardian needs to be present for the entire class.

Yes, we CAN learn about robotics! With the Lego robotics system, young children can build and program their robotic creations. Designed by the experts at MIT, this unique system teaches children about simple machines, engineering, programming, and so much more. Young imaginations soar! The Lego Education Robotics Builder class allows students to explore different concepts in robotics. Possible models may include dancing birds, a hungry alligator robot, goal kicker robot, a rescue plane, and a smart spinner robot. Students will be working in pairs.

Get ready for a mouth-full of gooey goodness! We will be making various types of s'mores your kids will love to concoct by the fire on your next outdoor camping adventure! All materials are included in registration.

Kids will explore oobleck, gooey slime, fluffy shaving cream, and squishy mud, discovering the joy of textures, colors, and messy fun. Little hands will mix, squish, and scoop, learning through play and experimentation. From stretchy slime to gooey oobleck, this class is full of giggles, sensory surprises, and messy masterpieces. Come prepared to get messy, get creative, and have a blast! Parent/guardian needs to be present for the entire class.

Create a colorful picture using yarn! You can make simple or complex images with a few basic materials. Templates will be available. All supplies included in the registration fee. Participants will go home with 1-2 finished creations.
