Skyhawks 1st Down Tots classes introduce your little athlete to football with focuses on motor skills, body control, and basic skills like throwing and catching. No tackling or blocking is involved, just pure fun and skill development! Parent participation required. Registration deadline July 27.

Create a magical pendant and wand using TinkerCAD while building 3D design skills. Students will also enjoy Harry Potter - inspired challenges and design themed video games while waiting for their 3D prints to finish. One design will be printed and sent home. Printing and material fees are included in the camp cost. Please bring a USB drive on the final day. Harry Potter is a Warner Bros. trademark, and this camp is not affiliated with them.

The Vikings Youth Boys Basketball Camp is available to boys who have completed grades K-7. The Youth Camp will focus on building the basic fundamentals in a fun environment. Our main focus points will be shooting, passing, and ball handling. Campers will participate in games and contests. The camp goal is that all of the campers leave with a love for basketball and some tools you can use after camp is over to help better your skills. Camp will be instructed by the Varsity Coaches, Youth Coaches, High School players andvolunteers. All campers will receive a t-shirt this year, so please include shirt size. The Wizard of Oz This 30-minute adaptation of The Wizard of Oz captures all the magic, heart, and unforgettable characters of the classic tale. When a Kansas farm girl named Dorothy is swept up by a swirling tornado, she suddenly finds herself in the dazzling Land of Oz - a place filled with colorful surprises and unexpected adventures. Determined to find her way home, Dorothy begins a journey to seek out the mysterious Wizard who may hold the answer. Along the yellow brick road, she befriends a hopeful scarecrow searching for a brain, a kind-hearted tin man longing for a heart, and a timid kion eager to find courage. Together, they travel through enchanted forests, past lively characters, and toward the shining Emerald City. With its clear storytelling, lively pacing, and wonderful opportunities for young actors to shine, The Wizard of Oz offers a delightful introduction to this timeless story of friendship, bravery, and discovering that there truly is no place like home. Yes, we CAN learn about robotics! With the Lego robotics system, young children can build and program their robotic creations. Designed by the experts at MIT, this unique system teaches children about simple machines, engineering, programming, and so much more. Young imaginations soar! The Lego Education Robotics Builder class allows students to explore different concepts in robotics. Possible models may include dancing birds, a hungry alligator robot, goal kicker robot, a rescue plane, and a smart spinner robot. Students will be working in pairs.

Get ready to dig in, squish, and splash in the hands-on sensory adventure. Kids will explore oobleck, gooey slime, fluffy shaving cream, and squishy mud, discovering the joy of textures, colors, and messy fun. We will provide a chaperone for the bus ride, and this person will be at the pool. Parents, please register your child for the best-fitted swimming level. The pool will evaluate the students on the first day and may move them to the class that best matches their skill level. Each level of lessons includes training in basic water safety and helping a swimmer in distress. In addition to the skills outlined below. Level 1: Water Exploration - This class is designed to help first-time swimmers become comfortable in the water. Students will learn skills in water entry/exit, breath control, floating and alternating arm action. Level 2: Primary Skills - Students will learn fundamental skills of propelling themselves in the water. Level 3: Stroke Readiness - Skills covered include coordinated front crawl, elementary back stroke and treading water. Safe diving skills will be introduced. Level 4: Stroke Development - Students will develop endurance and coordination of crawl and elementary back stroke, introduction to breast stroke and turns. Level 5: Stroke Refinement - Students will improve on previously learned strokes and will be introduced to butterfly, open turns, springboard diving distance swimming.

Dancers will learn a fun routine taught by members of the North Branch Vikettes Dance Team. They will present their routine on the last day of camp. Students please wear black shorts or capris, tennis shoes or dance shoes. Bring a water bottle. Participants will get to show off their dance routine at a High School Varsity Football game this fall.
