Skyhawks 1st Down Tots classes introduce your little athlete to football with focuses on motor skills, body control, and basic skills like throwing and catching. No tackling or blocking is involved, just pure fun and skill development! Parent participation required. Registration deadline July 27.

Create a magical pendant and wand using TinkerCAD while building 3D design skills. Students will also enjoy Harry Potter - inspired challenges and design themed video games while waiting for their 3D prints to finish. One design will be printed and sent home. Printing and material fees are included in the camp cost. Please bring a USB drive on the final day. Harry Potter is a Warner Bros. trademark, and this camp is not affiliated with them.

The Vikings Youth Boys Basketball Camp is available to boys who have completed grades K-7. The Youth Camp will focus on building the basic fundamentals in a fun environment. Our main focus points will be shooting, passing, and ball handling. Campers will participate in games and contests. The camp goal is that all of the campers leave with a love for basketball and some tools you can use after camp is over to help better your skills. Camp will be instructed by the Varsity Coaches, Youth Coaches, High School players andvolunteers. All campers will receive a t-shirt this year, so please include shirt size. Basketball players completed grades 6-11 have an opportunity to develop skills and work on fundamentals on a flexible schedule. Come in the morning, evening or both, as we start our preparation for next session. Players will have the opportunity to train for some off-season tournaments and leagues or continue to develop their skills as we look ahead to the next season. This will be led by the high school coaching staff. This camp is highly recommended for all serious basketball players.

The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program offers comprehensive training to ensure safe and successful babysitting. It covers everything from starting a babysitting business to essential safety, caregiving, and first aid practices. Upon completing the course and meeting the core learning objectives, students receive a certification valid for two years, and instructions to access a digital copy of the Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Student book. Students attend this class independently. Parents are encouraged to review the take-home information and discuss it with their child. If you are registering for Child and Babysitting Safety and Home Alone classes you may bring a bag lunch and drink to eat with the instructor during the break between the two classes.

Breathing or not breathing - this is all you need to know to determine how to care for your unconscious victim. This CPR class is very easy to learn and to remember! You will learn how to care for an unresponsive person and will be certified for 2 years in Basic Adult/Child and Infant CPR and AED. You will have unlimited practice opportunities during your certification period and unlimited digital access to the workbook materials. You will be taught how to help a choking victim, how to recognize if there is a problem and gain conference in your skills. This class does NOT have a written test.

Come join North Branch Flag Football, put on by our North Branch Vikings varsity coaching staff and varsity players as we introduce our young Vikings to football! Our varsity coaches and players will teach the basic football fundamentals (topics include: proper shoulder tackling as suggested by USA Football, blocking, throwing, catching, running and other football drills) and compete in various competitions. Just mention the words "Home Alone," and children think of the excitement depicted in the movies of the same name. The reality is being home alone can evoke fear and anxiety in many children. Whether left alone for an hour after school or several hours a day during the summer, children should feel comfortable being alone. This workshop for children will address several topics relating to being "Home Alone" including personal safety tips, tricky people, basic first aid, fire safety, handling the unexpected, internet safety, gun safety, dealing with loneliness and boredom, storm safety, dealing with siblings as well as trust and honesty. Students attend this class independently. Parents are encouraged to review the take-home information and discuss it with their child. If you are registering for Child and Babysitting Safety and Home Alone classes you may bring a bag lunch and drink to eat with the instructor during the break between the two classes.

Lotsa fun! Campers should bring water, sunscreen, a hat, a towel, and sunglasses. Campers should wear tennis shoes and shorts/pants that can hold a tennis ball. Free demo rackets from Michael Lynnes Tennis Shop will be available. There will be technical times where the camp is slow, and physical times where the camp runs fast...players should expect a workout with plenty of breaks. All campers will receive a t-shirt. Clogging is a traditional American dance form, with similarities to tap and Irish dancing. This is a beginner dance class for ages 3-8 taught by a National Certified Clogging Instructor! Along with many fun clogging steps & routines, your dancer will work on basic rhythm, flexibility, balance and how to be a great dance student. Students can wear comfortable clothes & shoes that slide easily. Optional glue-on clogging taps can be purchased from the instructor for $20. Bring a pair of flat-soled shoes for the taps to be attached to (white shoes preferred for possible future performance opportunities). No experience needed. Local performance opportunities will be available after the last class.
