Varsity Football Team Camp Completed Grades 8-11Sport CampsThe North Branch Varsity Football Team Camp is for students that are currently on, or interested in joining the varsity football team. Students that have completed grades 8-11 for the 2025/26 school year are strongly encouraged to attend. The camp will provide an opportunity for us to reconnect as a football program as well as start the learning process for the upcoming season! Scrimmage at Milaca on Friday, June 12 from 9-11am. All students must have a helmet and shoulder pads in order to participate in the camp. Equipment handout will be on June 8 at 7-9am at North Branch High School. Attention 9th graders (completed 8th grade): you will be meeting June 2 and 3 from 3:30-4:30pm at the high school fitness center in addition to the camp dates. Wonderful Wednesday Crystal Cave with Gem Panning completed Grades K-6Wonderful Wednesday Trips Grades K-6We will embark on a tour underground through the winding passages of an actual cave. Tours are led by an experienced cave guide who will explain how caves are formed, how they are explored, and the relationship between caves and our drinking water. And what visit would be complete without learning about our special friends, the bats. Students will come away with a new appreciation for Wisconsin’s only flying mammal, one that can eat up to 600 bugs an hour! Finally, the tour guide will show students Crystal Cave’s rare collection of fluorescent and phosphorescent rocks (glows under black light), including the cave walls themselves! After the cave tour, each student will receive a bag of enriched mining rough and instructions on panning. Identification cards are provided, and experienced staff will assist in identifying the rough gemstones found. Whether it’s raining or the sun is shining, the cave is always 50 degrees and dry.
